KAROLINA AUGUSTINAITE runs a compact home-electronics shop at Männiku tee 92, Tallinn, and ships throughout the European Union.
Two things sell here. First, eyes: a 2K solar security camera with AI human detection, and three USB webcams at different price points, all with built-in microphones. Second, air: a desktop tower fan, a 45-inch remote-controlled tower, a tilting metal floor fan and a turbo table fan. Between them they cover the two recurring problems of a Baltic home - keeping an eye on the yard, and getting through a warm July.
How the catalogue is built
Each product is bought, installed and used before it is listed. The cameras are tested on a real Wi-Fi network at the edge of the signal, the webcams on an ordinary laptop in ordinary indoor light, and every fan is run at its loudest setting with a meter in front of it. We publish the specifications we measured, not the ones on the supplier sheet.
